Oral and Overall Health ​​

                   Jeanette Szmiett RDH, BSDH, MHST

In 2002, I graduated from Fanshawe College's Dental Assisting Program and began working for 3 years before furthering my education. I went on to graduate from St. Clair College's Dental Hygiene Program in 2007.  In 2011, I attended the University of Detroit Mercy's Dental Hygiene Degree Completion program while working full time, earning my BSDH in 2012. In August 2021, I completed my Masters of Health Studies (Focus in Teaching) post graduate program at Athabasca University. 

For the first 12 years as a RDH I have had the privilege of work for a dental office located in Strathroy, Ontario. In January 2020 I decided to dedicate my career to providing preventive dental care at my own clinic, along with my continued work in education, as an associate professor for Fanshawe College's Dental Programs since 2012.

With over 18 years of clinical experience, the knowledge and experience I have attained has given me the ability to provide exceptional quality care to those in need. I am truly passionate about my career and serving the community. Providing dental care with holistic options and using a sustainable approach to reducing waste and our carbon footprint.
